An analysis has revealed the best airline of the year for 2023, with two significant Australian carriers also making it into the competitive top 25. See the full list.
AirlineRatings.com listed its annual top 25 airlines in a statement on Wednesday and honoured Air NZ with its seventh win since 2013.

Morgan/Getty ImagesThe Doha-based airline this time took second spot, followed by Etihad Airways, Korean Air and Singapore Airlines rounding out the top five.The category awards, however, recognised Qantas for having the best lounges, with Virgin awarded the best cabin crew.
Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran credited the win to the airline’s 12,000 staff for the “grit, commitment, and the exceptional service” they deliver.
