Lionsgate releases the first trailer for Greedy People, a new comedic crime thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lily James, and more.
In the Greedy People trailer, Patel is playing a small-town cop who accidentally is present at a crime scene where someone dies. After Patel’s character is accidentally present at the scene of a murder crime, he and Gordon-Levitt, who is also playing a cop, discover a huge pile of secret cash inside the victim’s home. The two of them decide to take the money, all while they’re supposed to be investigating the case.
In addition to the aforementioned cast, Greedy People stars Tim Blake Nelson, Uzo Aduba, Nina Arianda, Jim Gaffigan, José Yazpik, Joey Lauren Adams, and Simon Rex., while the script was written by Mike Vukadinovich. Zack Schiller, Dylan Sellers, Shannon Houchins, Chris Parker, and David Boies serve as producers on the movie., when the studio officially purchased the film.
Patel is known for starring in movies such as 2019’s Yesterday , 2020’s Tenet, 2021’s Don’t Look Up, 2022’s Enola Holmes 2, and 2023’s Good Grief, while he also played Jeevan Chaudhary in HBO Max’s Station Eleven. Gordon-Levitt recently appeared alongside Eddie Murphy in 2024’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, while James is known for 2015’s Cinderella, 2017’s Baby Driver, 2018’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, and 2023’s The Iron Claw.
