A passenger injured in a recent Green Line derailment has criticized the MBTA for its lack of protocols and response to passengers following the incident. Maggie Norcross-Devin, who was among those hurt, stated that there were no apparent procedures followed and that injured passengers were not medically checked or given assistance.
“There seemed to be no protocols that were followed,” Maggie Norcross-Devin, who was one of several people injured in the Green Line derailment, said.One of the Green Line riders hurt in the derailment near Lechmere Station in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this week has called on the agency to make changes for helping passengers after a derailment or other accident.

Norcross-Devin also says that Somerville City Council members expected to take up the issue during a meeting next week.
