Patients receiving end of life care, and their families, were recently taken on an 'unforgettable' behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium in a day 'filled with smiles and laughter'.
Greg Taylor organised for a group of 'Celtic-daft' hospice patients to visit Parkhead in a day "filled with smiles, laughter and cherished memories".
It was Ardgowan Hospice patients Ester Carmichael, 67, and Danny Condon, 69, who stole the show as they belted out Gerry and the Pacemakers hit You'll Never Walk Alone while exploring Hoops' HQ. A spokesperson for the Greenock-based hospice said: "Our patients, some of whom are lifelong Celtic supporters, were thrilled to step into this legendary venue.
"Highlights included walking through the players’ tunnel, where countless footballing legends have stepped onto the pitch, and visiting the home team’s dressing room – getting plenty of pictures with some of their idols. For many, standing where their football hero's prepare for match days was an emotional moment.
