Gregg Wallace has taken to social media to hit out at the accusations made towards him, accusing 'middle-class women of a certain age' for making the complaints.
Gregg Wallace has hit out at "middle-class women of a certain age" for complaining about his behaviour in a fiery Instagram post. The MasterChef host, who recently stepped aside from the BBC show amid a probe into complaints about alleged misconduct, addressed the claims directly.
"This isn't right. In over 20 years of television, can you imagine how many women, female contestants, on MasterChef have made sexual remarks or sexual innuendo, can you imagine? " MasterChef's Lisa Addison, who graced the show in 2022, replied that she 'completely agrees'. While she also made her own comment defending Gregg: "Filmed with Gregg two years ago. An absolute gentleman! The woke will not stop til they get what they want! Yet another example of the media destroying someone."
Not mincing his words, Sir Rod shared: "So Greg Wallace gets fired from Masterchef. Good riddance Wallace...You humiliated my wife when she was on the show but you had that bit cut out didn't you? You're a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart."
