A young man and woman have been charged after allegedly posing as Victorian police officers in a ruse to rob victims. 7NEWS

An hour later, the group allegedly went to a residence on nearby Orbit St and allegedly told the occupants, a family of four, they were police officers.7NEWS understands the group were carrying clipboards and lanyards and wearing suits with blue gloves.They were charged with robbery, false imprisonment, home invasion, impersonate police officer and theft of motor car and other offences.
