Guenther Steiner has weighed in on Max Verstappen's future, should he decide to do the implausible and part ways with Red Bull.
Guenther Steiner believes that, if Max Verstappen did make an unlikely exit from Red Bull at the end of this year, Mercedes would be his destination.
But all the while Red Bull are also supplying Verstappen with the dominant car, he also feels it is in “Max’s own interest” to stay. “But I think it’s also a good team to be at, at this moment, so I think in Max’s own interest, I think he likes the car there, he likes the team, so if there is not anything really disturbing him personally, I think he doesn’t really want to move.
