The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime programme when Alison gave her some news
Holly Willoughby was left gutted when she returned to This Morning and Alison Hammond informed her of a shake-up. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime programme on Monday alongside Alison after a lengthy summer break.
Then it was time for the opening of This Morning and instead of being greeted by Holly and Alison, they were given a performance by Mamma Mia! The Party which currently takes place at the O2 in London and sees guests transported to the island of Skopelos as dinner at Nikos Taverna turns into a fabulous disco. However, it seems not all This Morning viewers were impressed and wondered what was going on as they eagerly awaited Holly's return and flocked to social media to comment.
With Holly being absent from an extended period, ITV bosses also took the decision to 'rest' the daily game which sees viewers given the chance to win up to £3,000 if they answer the phone with the correct passphrase before the presenters spin the wheel and usually a tombola featuring the same money prizes.
"What!?" Holly, 42, exclaimed. "What's happened to my balls over the summer?" As Alison came up with some excuses, Holly said it was 'fine'. Alison responded: "Well it is called Spin to Win! Just spin it!" to which Holly agreed it was "fair enough".
