Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi says 'magician' Morgan Gibbs-White should come straight back into the starting line-up.
Manager Steve Cooper said Gibbs-White wasn't dropped, but it was a tactical choice to leave out a player who barely had a summer break after helping England Under-21s win the European Championships. Moussi admits he was surprised by the move as he called for Gibbs-White to start at Crystal Palace and get more protection behind him to spark attacks as Forest's main creative threat.
"He can create something and I think this is what we missed in the first half. When you check the rest of the team, we have wingers with pace and can run with the ball. "For me, to free up Gibbs- White we should have two sitting midfielders. It reminded me of when we had Radi or Lewis McGugan. They had creativity. In the season when Lewis McGugan was flying, I was in in the team with Paul McKenna or sometimes Chrissy Cohen and we say to Lewis don't worry, we'll defend for you and you do your attacking bit.
