The store will feature both H&M and H&M Home sections when it opens this month
Swedish retail brand H&M have finally confirmed it is to open its Home brand in the city centre - and very soon. H&M home will open within the brand's flagship store on Market Street next week.
H&M branched out into homeware back in 2009, adding everything from bedding and kitchenware to flowers and plants to its huge clothing and fashion ranges. For a while, the retail brand's home collection was only available online for Manchester shoppers, but then H&M refurbished its Trafford Centre store and reopened with a section dedicated to homeware.
Opening next week, the refurbished store will feature new services including click & collect lockers and self-checkouts, and is the second H&M Home offering in Manchester after the Trafford Centre. Customers visiting will notice a new, welcoming interior, a relaxed environment, and products will be displayed in a 'curated and inspirational' way.
Since its temporary closure in June, H&M's Market Street store has been trialling its 'Keep The Presence' initiative - a brand-new, temporary store fit out created at the front of the store. The first concept saw a brand-new, temporary store fit out created at the front of the store with a curated capsule collection of womenswear and menswear.
