Manchester City have a week off with their players are on international duty - with a huge Premier League clash vs Arsenal awaiting on their return.

Manchester City will hope to have three injured players back to face Arsenal - and they will also hope that no other players pick up setbacks on international break amid an Erling Haaland injury concern.

Curiously, Jack Grealish was on the bench against Newcastle but has not been called up by England and will instead undergo a 10 day training plan back at the City Football Academy, after some time off. Grealish will be fit for the Arsenal game in 12 days time, which will hand City a useful boost in their quest to beat the Gunners and take a huge step towards the title.

If Ederson doesn't play, Stefan Ortega can fill in between the posts and look to build on a solid substitute appearance at Liverpool and his clean sheet against Newcastle. Assuming no other players are injured, the defence should look familiar vs Arsenal with Kyle Walker, John Stones and Nathan Ake. Rodri is a guaranteed starter, and with De Bruyne doubtful, maybe Mateo Kovacic gets the nod in midfield after showing his class in recent outings. City look more balanced when he is there, and he can allow other forwards to concentrate on attacking. However much De Bruyne will be needed in such a big game, City won't risk him if he is not fully fit - and he may be better used off the bench.
