Recastled CEO Kosha Gada says reports of hackers from North Korea targeting cryptocurrency exchanges “fits into the general framework” of how the country’s leader Kim Jong-un “operates”.
“The source of these kinds of stories is tricky, and if it’s coming from these very intelligence agencies where trust in them is very low, I would just put that out there and question that,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“But I think it’s part of the modus operandi of Kim Jong-un, and financial intrusions are the one way he can engage with the global economy.”
