The designer will show his first collection for Fall 2025 in Paris.
Haider Ackermann is officially taking the reins at Tom Ford. The designer will debut his vision for the label with a Fall 2025 collection next year in Paris, where he is currently based. The news comes a few months after Peter Hawkings, who had been Ford’s right hand for nearly 25 years, stepped down as creative director.
”There has been much speculation this summer about who would take over the brand, but Ackermann was always a top contender. Born in Colombia, he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, for a time, but left before graduating. He instead interned with John Galliano and worked alongside designers like Wim Neels and Bernhard Willhelm.
