Amazon reviewers said the BaByliss hair straighteners are 'just as good as GHDs for a fraction of the price'
Amazon has dropped the price on hair straighteners shoppers say are "just as good as GHDs." The online retailer is selling the BaByliss Rose Lustre Hair Straighteners for £23.99, down from £45.
The product description reads: "Our Rose Lustre 230 Hair Straightener has ceramic plates and three digital heat settings with a top temperature of 230°C for easy, controlled styling and a smooth finish on all hair types. Part of our Rose Lustre Collection." A second wrote: "Brilliant value!!! I love that it heats up almost as quick as GHD and 3 different heat settings. Styles brilliantly. I've short hair and it works great, but in the process of growing hair cut into a bob and know it will be good for that length also. Happy I purchased this instead of expensive ones. Babyliss a really good alternative. Thanks Babyliss!"
However, one shopper wrote: "They don't shut tightly in your hair which is the one thing they kinda need to do to straighten it. So I returned them."
