Haiti earthquake death toll rises to 1,297 with at least 5,700 injured
The death toll from a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that shook the island nation of Haiti on Saturday has risen to 1,297 with at least 5,700 people injured. In Les Cayes, officials believe there are only 30 doctors for one million residents. The earthquake took out the town's underground water pipes and destroyed the town's markets, leaving hundreds without food.
