The Canadian screen star, who rose to prominence in the 70s and 80s, was found dead in her son-in-law’s home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on Friday, per NBC10 in Philadelphia. Local authorities were first alerted after an unidentified man, 76, was spotted unconscious on the floor of a detached in-law suite on Friday morning.
The odourless gas produces symptoms including a headache, dizziness, feeling sick, weak, confusion, chest and muscle pain and shortness of breath. Appliances such as gas boilers, coal fires and portable generators can produce deadly leaks if not maintained properly. Born in Quebec in 1948, Haddon started acting in the 70s and appeared in two films with Hollywood star Nick Nolte: Madame Claude and North Dallas Forty and starred in Woody Allen movie Bullets Over Broadway in 1994.
