Singer Halsey gave a first look in character as Tabby Martin in Ti West’s upcoming slasher film, MaXXXine, which is the third installment in the X film series.
She appeared to playing either a zombie or a corpse as she sported fake gruesome lacerations, cuts, scrapes, and dark bruising across her face and body. The A24 project focused on the origin story of the titular character, Pearl, who was the elderly woman who resided at the rural Texas farmhouse in X. The movie received positive feedback from both audiences and critics.
The performer also revealed she was diagnosed with lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
