Ehab al-Ghussein, the deputy minister of labour, was killed along with three other people in an attack on a church-run school, local authorities said
Palestinians inspect the Holy Family School which shelters displaced people, after it was hit in an Israeli strike An Israeli airstrike in Gaza City has killed senior Hamas official Ehab al-Ghussein, according to Palestinian authorities, while fresh evacuation orders have been issued for several neighbourhoods.
The Israeli army said it carried out a strike on a building where “terrorists” were operating and seeking refuge, and that prior to the strike, it took steps to reduce the risk of civilians being harmed. At least 13 people, including those killed in the school, died in Israeli airstrikes overnight Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
A hospital statement said they were handcuffed, and an Associated Press reporter saw one of the bodies with bound hands.
