The Championship side have turned to Gordon Marshall as their new goalie coach after Brian Potter's exit
Hamilton Accies have appointed former Celtic and Motherwell star Gordon Marshall as their new head of goalkeeping.
Marshall was at League One side Queen of the South last season and became the latest well-known face to come in at New Douglas Park after Charlie Mulgrew was last week confirmed as the club's new under-18s coach. Commenting on the appointment of Marshall, Hamilton's director of football, Gerry Strain, said: "With Brian leaving the club after such a significant period at the club and with the foundations he put in place, it was important that we achieved a calibre of coach that could take the role to the next level and we believe we can do that with Gordon, who has great experience domestically and also played internationally.
