Accies' split squad will face Cumbernauld Colts and Gala Fairydean Rovers on Saturday
Hamilton Accies will be back on the pitch this weekend as fans get their first glimpse of the club’s summer signings.
Entry to Saturday’s double-header is £5 for the day, and boss John Rankin said: “Pre-season has been going well. We started last Wednesday, boys have done testing, and then they’ve been at it in double sessions in the past couple of days. “This summer has been really short and the fact that the players had only four and a half weeks, considering they went through a tough season, they needed to switch off mentally as well as physically.
“Having games organised is vitally important, having the two on Saturday back-to-back. We’ve done that in the last couple of years, going away from home against local sides, I felt it was important to get them at our place, so there’s not a change of surface.
