Police are investigating a serious assault in Hamilton, Scotland that left a 19-year-old man hospitalized. The suspect is described as a white male, aged 16-17, and wearing a dark grey tracksuit, face covering, and glasses.
Detectives are appealing to the public for information after a serious assault in Hamilton left a teenager in hospital. The incident happened at around 11.20pm on Saturday, December 28 on Portland Place. A young man, aged 19, was taken to hospital for treatment after he was attacked by a teenager who was accompanied by a group of three other males. The suspect is described as being a white male, aged around 16 to 17-years-old, around 5ft 9inches tall, of a slim build, with short, brown hair.
At the time, he was wearing a dark grey tracksuit, a face covering, and glasses. Police are now urging anyone with information to come forward. Detective Constable Muhammad Yasar said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed this to come forward. “In particular, we would like to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time. “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3807 of Saturday, 28 December 2024. Alternatively, you can speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
