“Joanna’s death wasn’t supposed to be with a rolling pin; it was originally a golf club,” said Winnard.
“Because of how much blood that would have caused and the prosthetics I had on for the injuries, the police adviser said it wouldn’t possibly be able to be cleaned up or hidden so quickly. So we had to change it to make it more realistic,” she added.over her role as Kayla Clifton in the ITV soap. “A very few people made nasty comments about my appearance, saying I'd had work done on my bum and my lips, when I hadn't,” she said. “That stuck in my brain a bit, but then I forgot about it because the vast majority of people are positive.”
