PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will be under the microscope during a critical part of the 2024 season. In addition to navigating a roster full of newcomers and multiple competitions for starting positions, they will also have to balance having a film crew around for the final eight weeks of their season.June 17, 2024
One of the most cited reasons is that the process can be too distracting to the team. It happened last year with the New York Jets and Head Coach Robert Saleh. During team activities last summer,"I know there’s several teams that would love for Hard Knocks to be in their building, but we’re just not one of them," he told reporters at the time.
The Steelers might not be the most eager participant, but there is no need to buy into the hype of negativity. The truth is it's not a real issue unless teams make it one. Most coaches and players get used to having the extra people and equipment within a matter of days and business proceeds as usual.
