Lynch highlights Invermen's journey as the make more history
As the celebrations ramped up at a sun-kissed Inver Park on Saturday evening one of the key protagonists was sharing a special moment with his nearest and dearest.
It's been an incredible journey for everyone involved over the past seven years and one they will rightfully not forget. For Lynch being able to share it with his family makes it "very worthwhile" as he pointed out."Out of all of it they're probably the ones who make the biggest sacrifice," he said. "To be able to make them feel part of this and proud of the work that's gone in and the sacrifices that have been made then it's all very worthwhile.
"You don't probably appreciate it on days like this, it's probably one of those which sinks in after a couple of days. When I was coming out to the game today Seamus was on the radio and he was talking about looking around and thinking back to where we were this time seven years ago. Larne still needed to wrap up the title on Saturday despite getting a hand on it following their draw with nearest-challengers Linfield. Lynch was thrilled to see his charges put on a show in front of an expectant home support sealing consecutive title wins in style with a 5-0 win over Coleraine.
