According to the sheriff’s office, at one point the man did come outside with a shotgun draped over his shoulder, disregarded commands to put it down and then went back into the house.The sheriff’s office says he came out a second time, this time with a semi-automatic rifle, and pointed it at deputies.Officials say one deputy discharged his weapon multiple times and shot the man once in the upper torso.
