Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in north Harris County on Thursday after a man allegedly tried to break into his ex-wife's home.
A man was shot and killed after allegedly forcing his way into an apartment in north Harris County on Thursday night.According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the man who was shot was reportedly the ex-husband of the woman who lives there.DOWNLOAD THE FOX 26 HOUSTON APP BY CLICKING HEREThe shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 15100 block of Blue Ash.Deputies responded to the scene and found a 35-year-old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound in an apartment.
Authorities say she then called some friends, and about eight to 10 people came over.At some point, the sheriff’s office says the man came back but was not let into the apartment, and he ended up forcing entry into the apartment.SUGGESTED: Mother of 12-year-old killed speaks out for first time, funeral services setThe sheriff’s office says one of the people in the apartment shot the man and then fled the scene.There is no description of the shooter at this time.
