Perez recently defended his WBC belt and added another championship to his collection, rising to 11th in the WBC rankings.

His latest fight came on the undercard for Adrien Broner; he not only defended his title but also added another one to his collection. Through it all his hometown of Harrisburg has been a huge reason he fights. Perez's record now stands at 10-0 in the pro ranks. A sign that his hard work is paying off since he started boxing at a young age and instantly fell in love. "We don't really have much in Harrisburg, especially in boxing," said Perez."There is so much more I want to do and I know I'm going to do."
