New plans for the upcoming Coronation have revealed the coveted balcony lineup, but thanks to a shakeup by King Charles there will be no room for Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle
As plans for the upcoming Coronation continue to ramp up, it has now been revealed that the King and Queen will celebrate the historic occasion by appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony with only the working royals to accompany them.
According to the Mirror, detailed plans have revealed how the King has chosen to say thanks for the nation alongside a select few royals who have dedicated their lives to public service, while also showing “the heartbeat and future of his family”. One notable absence who will be missing from the final 15 spots, is Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, should the couple decided to attend the Coronation at all.
One member of the family we do know will be standing with Charles however, is his trusted lieutenant and beloved sister, Princess Anne, who will be accompanied by her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. “There is little room for sentiment, this is a State occasion, not a family occasion and it is right that only the working members of the family are there at the big public moment.”
