Meghan says her and Harry 'weren’t allowed to tell our story' in Netflix show
The first three episodes of Harry & Meghan were set to drop on the streaming service at 8am on Thursday morning. A further three episodes will follow on December 15.
Directed by two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, it will also feature commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed according to Netflix. But what issues and questions are being raised in the documentary? And what do Harry and Meghan say about the Royal Family, the press, The Queen, Charles and William and Kate?Simon Coyle“We weren’t allowed to tell our story,” Meghan says on reflection this year. Harry adds: “We’ve never been asked our story, that’s the consistent [theme].”The first royal event for Meghan and Harry was in Nottingham on December 17.
Paparazzi still harass people. The harassment really exists more online now. Once the photographs are out and the story is then put next to it, then comes the social media harassment. To see another woman in my life who I love go through this feeding frenzy. That’s hard. It is basically the hunter versus the prey.”
