The highlights reel, soundtracked by Coldplay’s “Clocks”, showed the engagements and projects Harry and Meghan made over the last 12 months. It featured organisations like the animal welfare charity Mayhew, social enterprise Luminary bakery, the sustainable tourism initiative Travalyst launched by the Duke in September as well as photos from their tour of Southern Africa, Meghan’s Smart Works drive and the iconic September Forces for Change Vogue cover.
There was also a photo of Meghan and Kate at Wimbledon this year, a reciprocal nod back to the Cambridges who in their own end-of-year recap on the Kensington Palace Instagram included images of the Sussexes’ photocall with Archie after he was born, as well as the family photo from the christening. There were constant rumours of a rift between the two couples last year, seemingly confirmed by Harry when he said in a TV interview the brothers were on different paths.
