The 29-year-old, who joined Spurs in the summer of 2014, has just one year left on his contract with the north London club. He's yet to make an appearance for Spurs this season and sparked talk he could leave earlier this month with his social media activity suggesting he no longer follows the club on Instagram on Twitter. There's also no reference to Spurs on his Instagram bio.
