'It's been 25 years and it's for children.'
LONDON - Miriam Margolyes, who played the role of Professor Sprout in the "Harry Potter" film franchise, has urged older fans to move on.In the interview, Margolyes said "she worried about" Harry Potter fans, going on to say "they should be over that by now."
The Blackadder actress said that Harry Potter was "25 years ago and it's for children," adding that the fans "get stuck in it." Margolyes expressed bewilderment with older fans who want to have "Harry Potter" themed weddings. "And I think, gosh, what's their first night of fun going to be?" Margolyes told 1 News. "I can't even think about it."
Despite her criticism of older fans of the series, Margoyles went on to praise the "Harry Potter" franchise as "wonderful," going on to tell 1 News that she was "very grateful" to have been able to work on the films.
