Twemlow Viaduct, in the 30-year-old's home village of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, has become a popular attraction for fans ever since they learned the popstar spent time there in his youth. Fans are being encouraged to head in One Direction to the new blank wall instead to leave their decorations and slogans.
“But to preserve the viaduct’s historic status and not spoil anyone’s fun, we have fitted an alternative wall to allow them to continue to leave their messages of love and support.
