The Duke of Sussex reunited with King Charles yesterday , following the shocking news from Buckingham Palace that he had been diagnosed with a form of cancer.
The royal expert exclusively told OK!: “It seems quite extraordinary that they couldn’t have spent a little more time together in London or Sandringham. The 39 year old Duke of Sussex is said to have been personally informed of King Charles' diagnosis by the King himself, and made the decision to fly to London immediately.
This marks the first time he and Charles had met in private since Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022, though they have been in telephone contact. He also carried out an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle before attending a gala fundraising dinner for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "During The King's recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
