The care home was awarded with a ‘good’ CQC rating after a recent inspection
A care home has been awarded with a ‘good’ rating after a recent CQC inspection. Inspectors arrived at Haslingden Hall and Lodge unannounced to assess the management and quality of care given at the home among other factors which they determined as ‘good’.
“Our aim is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our residents, somewhere they can genuinely call home. The CQC made particular reference to the fact that our team treat people with kindness and respect, and spent time getting to know them and their specific needs and wishes. This is vitally important and is at the very heart of what we do.
“The team, led by Jo-Ann, has made a range of improvements in recent months and will continue to ensure that these high standards are maintained at all times.” Other positive notes from the report include a mention of residents telling inspectors they felt safe living in the home, and they were happy with the service provided.
