Deputies responded to reports of a disturbance outside the gas station along FM 1960 at Ella Boulevard after multiple people called about a man pointing a gun at people and passing vehicles, HCSO said. Deputies quickly spotted a guy matching the suspect’s description and ordered him to show his hands, according to HCSO's preliminary investigation.
“The suspect reaches into his waistband, pulls a pistol and pointed it at the deputy,” HCSO Asst. Chief Tommy Diaz said at a news conference.ct was struck, he started claiming that the gun was not a real pistol," Diaz said."From what we see, it looked like a real gun."
