The former SMU football star helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl this year, but will he see the field again anytime soon?
On February 11, NFL wide receiver Rashee Rice was on top of the world. The rookie had starred at Richland High School in Tarrant County before playing ball at Southern Methodist University and had been a key player in helping the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl in front of more than 123 million people watching on television.

The promising young player had every reason to think he might be the Chiefs' top receiver option moving forward, giving already legendary QB Patrick Mahomes an exciting new player to look for downfield.
