Dutch defender Micky van de Ven, who joined Tottenham in the off-season from German club Wolfsburg in a £34.5 million deal, has hailed the appointment of Postecoglou, who led Scottish giants Celtic to five trophies in two seasons before being lured to the English Premier League by Spurs. “I think how we play now, every player in the team loves the way of playing under him, the way he thinks about football,” van de Ven told talkSPORT.“We feel each other and we know what he wants and we know what he expects from us, so we do what he wants.
Van de Ven added it was a “possibility” that Postecoglou could emulate the “instant success” he had at Celtic with Spurs.
