We need to make sure that people who are aged care residents who end up at ED departments can get the care in their aged care when they are not acute health issues.National Cabinet met for the first time in 2023 to discuss a number of issues on premiers and chief ministers' agenda.

"We've put aside $750 million to the Strengthening Medicare Fund that will be used to fund the recommendations in this report," he said in a press conference on Friday.
