Suzie Scott's life was turned upside down after her husband Tam was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer despite being fit and healthy and enjoying an active retirement.
A Glasgow pensioner was diagnosed with incurable cancer just months after he began experiencing back pain.
In January 2023, Tam began suffering from back pain and losing weight. By March, he was unable to get out of bed. His wife Suzie, 65, is now determined to raise awareness about the disease in a bid to save more men's lives. She is encouraging men, their families, and friends across the country to lace up their walking shoes and join her this September.
“My dog will be with me every step of the way. He’s my personal trainer and we’ll be increasing the number and length of our local walks for March the Month, which he’ll love. I also plan to join my friends and their dogs for part of the challenge to help get the steps in, which will be really fun too.
