Doctors say there's nothing more they can do to cure the 81-year-old's throat cancer, which has spread throughout his body, reportsBut his final wish to see his pet was granted after a nurse arranged for Ruby-Lee to visit Lincoln County Hospital. Colin's wife of 57 years, Marlene, told the news site: “They [Colin and Ruby-Lee] are very, very close.She added: “It was brilliant, marvellous. His face was really excited.The pair have since been reunited again as Colin has been allowed home to spend the rest of the time he has left with loved ones.As soon as she saw him she went mad. She knew who it was straightaway“I can’t complain about anybody. They have been perfect.
Jane Keenan, a relative of Colin posted on Facebook: "Thank you to the staff that made this possible for his son Wain to bring Uncle Colin's best friend in to see him.most read in news
