Heartbreaking video shows 92-year-old asking coronavirus panic-buyers to stop and think of care home residents
It is the first time since World War Two Brits have faced rationing in stores.
General manager of Lillian's care home Emma Bingham said: “The reaction to Lillian’s video has been amazing.“As care homes need to protect the health of their residents by limiting visitors, messages to and from the community are invaluable to our residents.“At a time like this, care workers are indispensable and we are welcoming applications from anyone who brings a positive attitude and a passion for care.
“Our residents have all expressed amazement by today’s technology, as we have set up video and telephone facilities so that they keep in touch with their loved ones.”
