Heartbroken Dave Grohl sobs on return to US after 'best friend' Taylor Hawkins died of 'cardiovascular collapse'
The Foo Fighters returned to Los Angeles on a private plane Saturday night after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. An emotional Dave Grohl, 53, hugged his friends and a man who seems to be his manager after the tragic loss. Also pictured arriving were guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett, keyboardist Rami Jaffee and background singer Samantha Sidley. . .
Investigators concluded Hawkins suffered 'cardiovascular collapse' after binging on a cocktail of drugs. Foo Fighters just completed host of tour dates in South America and were due to appear at Grammys in April. The band said it was 'devastated by the untimely loss' and asked for the privacy of his family to be respected.
