Heartbroken tributes have been paid to legendary nightclub owner with 'big heart' following his death.
His funeral will be held on Monday, September 11, at Burscough Crematorium starting from 1pm. Friends have been paid to Rowland since his death was announced last week, the ECHO reports.One person said: "If you went to The Kingsway or The West End you may have seen him at the door, he also had The System and numerous other clubs around Merseyside. Similarly, like his Dad, Roy, he was a pretty solid honourable guy, thoughts are with his remaining brother Paul and family.
One tribute said: "Rowland was a big man physically and had a big heart - a courageous man who feared no one and unhesitatingly faced down the bullies we all too frequently encountered in Clubland. Condolences to all the Adam's family. RIP Rowland. You will be sorely missed."
