Temperatures expected to get even hotter on the Fourth of July.

Heat and humidity will be the theme on Saturday across Alabama. Highs are expected to reach the mid-90s in some areas, and heat advisories will go into effect at noon in parts of north and central Alabama. Sunday could even be a little hotter.Alabama temperatures will continue to be hotter than average at times going into next week, and a heat advisory has been issued for part of the state for today. More heat advisories will be possible on Sunday and into next week as well.

Air temperatures on Saturday are expected to range from the low to mid-90s today. That, combined with higher humidity, will make it feel like the temperature is as high as 108, according to the weather service.Rain chances are forecast to be higher today and Sunday but could trend lower next week, forecasters said.

⚠️🥵 It's going to be HOT today! Dangerous heat conditions with heat indices up to 108 degrees are expected. A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee from 12-8PM CDT. Stay cool and stay safe!Higher moisture levels will result in a more humid feel to the heat outside. A Heat Advisory is in effect in our west where heat indices may reach 105F this afternoon.
