Herro, 23, has been out since Game 1 of the first round with a broken right hand.Herro averaged 20.1 points during the regular season and started all 67 games in which he played. The original timeline for him was an absence of at least six weeks; Friday will be five weeks since his surgery.
Spoelstra said Herro can begin dribbling and shooting work. It is unclear when he can take physical contact, and Spoelstra said there was no timetable for Herro’s return to the lineup.
