The National Weather Service is calling for high temperatures in the 90s throughout this week and into the weekend.
While the first day of summer is just a day away, Pennsylvania and several surrounding states already are experiencing the hottest weather of 2024. Here’s what forecasters with the National Weather Service are predicting for the week,
Credit: National Weather ServiceForecasters are predicting the hottest temperatures of the week on Friday, with a high near 97 or 98 in and around Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Carlisle and Chambersburg. Friday also brings a 20% chance of rain showers and thunderstorms to the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Leading up to Friday, cities in central Pa. will have high temperatures between 92 and 96 accompanied by calm winds.
