MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Luzon , including Metro Manila will likely experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon locally known as 'habagat,' the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.Weather specialist Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, however, that the heat would still be felt, especially at noontime until mid-afternoon.
She said maximum temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius would likely be over Tuguegarao City in Cagayan province and the National Capital Region respectively.On one hand, Pagasa said it would be rainy with thunderstorms over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Zambales and Bataan all throughout the day due to habagat.
