It affects the southern parts of Greater Manchester, alongside large swathes of Wales, the East Midlands, Cheshire and Merseyside and the South West. The Bee Network has warned that speed restrictions and line closures may be implemented due to snow and ice, with people encouraged to check their journeys and allow extra time. National Highways have warned drivers to expect disruption across the UK.
