A winter storm bringing significant snowfall to New Hampshire caused numerous crashes and road closures on Monday morning. Interstate 93 and other major highways experienced multiple vehicle accidents, leading to temporary shutdowns. State police reported no serious injuries.

New Hampshire State Police responded to numerous crashes and vehicles off the road as a winter storm brought significant snowfall to the state between 3 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday. Reports indicated 98 crashes and vehicles off the road, along with 18 disabled vehicles. Interstate 93 south in New Hampshire faced multiple closures due to separate multi-vehicle accidents. Around 8:30 a.m., state police reported that I-93 in Salem was closed at mile marker 4.

This closure was lifted around 8:42 a.m. Earlier, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a separate multi-vehicle crash shut down I-93 south in Bow at mile marker 34.8, with all lanes reopening by 8:52 a.m. State police also dealt with a multi-vehicle crash on the Spaulding Turnpike southbound, closing the two left lanes at mile marker 4.4 in Dover around 8:20 a.m. Another multi-vehicle crash was reported around 8:45 a.m. on Route 101 east in Hampton, causing a shutdown of eastbound traffic. A crash involving a jackknifed tractor-trailer that blocked three left lanes on the northbound side of Interstate 95 in North Hampton was reported around 6 a.m. at mile marker 7.2. All lanes reopened within an hour, according to state police.While the incidents resulted in numerous road closures, state police reported no serious injuries in any of the crashes. The incidents occurred following a period of heavy snowfall across southern New Hampshire overnight as a winter storm swept through the region
